Islamorada is conveniently located in Balboa, near the entrance to the Amador Causeway (Flamenco Island) and the base of the Bridge of the Americas.

The Albrook airport, bus terminal, and shopping center are just a few minutes away, as are numerous commercial banks, restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, and supermarkets. The Miraflores Locks Visitors Center and the historic city of Casco Viejo are also nearby, both of which can be visited via public transportation (see Google map below).
